Exeter's First Gate to Plate Food Festival Coming to Sidwell Street in October

Exeter's first Gate to Plate food festival coming to Sidwell Street Sunday 4 October from 10 till 4pm.

Join in for a delicious day out celebrating great local and regional producers most from within a 30 mile radius of Exeter. eat:Festivals and Gate to Plate are putting on a cracking one-day festival that is low cost for the producers to attend – meaning that money goes straight back into local businesses and their communities; well publicised; good fun; well run and with lots of variety. You can expect to find over 70 food & drink makers including local bakers, farmers, brewers, orchardists, roasters, deli favourites, treat food and Street Food. Family friendly, free to attend and with plenty of entertainment and activities to join in. Choices for the whole family - accessible, inclusive, inspiring. Always with a wide range including gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and alcohol free food and drinks. It’s a free day out and a chance to meet friends whilst discovering something new. If you want to have a bit more elbow room, to get the pick of the produce, we recommend you arrive early!

eat:Festivals is a not-for-profit social enterprise that specialises in developing festivals that bring the community together, showcase local producers and give businesses the chance to welcome new people into their premises.

We hope the festival will grow and develop and become an established part of the Exeter calendar.
